Stunning property, amazing location and beautiful views. Amenities including the spa were amazing and the Raiva restaurant was one of the best meals we have ever had. Staff were very lovely and friendly and very accommodating.

The setting is absolutely stunning and we loved kayaking on the river. The views from the room are incredible and the bed was very comfy. The staff were great and we enjoyed the complimentary welcome port.

The hotel is amazing, the pool is heated. Food is delicious. I really like the attention to detail, they always leave messages for the guests in the room with some tea/cookies and water. And, the little ones are not forgotten, they provide special products for the baby/kids, truly amazing! Thank you

Very friendly staff; The location is amazing with very an awesome river view (We got a room with river view); Having gym and interior heated pool available 24h is a big plus; Has 2 restaurants to choose from which gives you more choices on the hotel directly;

Fabulous hotel, everything is beautifully designed and the staff is helpful and attentive. Our room was large and comfortable with a nice view of the mountains and river. The pool on the roof and cafe were relaxing. My dog travels with me and I have had many "pet friendly" experiences. Octant hotels are the best and set the bar high. The fees are a bit higher than some hotels but having access to common areas together is well worth it!

We recently stayed at Octant Douro to celebrate our first year anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. I think we were given a free upgrade and the view of our room was incredible! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. We were welcomed with fruit, a bottle of wine, and a personalised card in our room, which made us feel really special. We ate in both of the hotel restaurants and the food never disappointed. Again, we were given a special treat at the end to mark the occasion! The breakfast is also really good. Although we didn't have a spa treatment we made use of the steam room, sauna and heated pool, which were excellent. The hotel is beautiful but the staff's excellent service and attention to detail really set it apart. It's clear that they take great pride in their work.

The place is very unique with a sense of tranquility. The view is amazing along the river bank with vantage points throughout. The food is superb. Dining at the OD is an experience in itself. Our room was lively with a full view of the river.
